[Totals for the first quarter of FY2022 (re open meetings & re closed meetings) = 45 + 19 = 64 … Oct2021 = 10 + 4 = 14, Nov = 19 + 11 = 30, Dec = 16 + 4 = 20. A quarterly rate of 64 annualises as 256.
[ED Lydia Brazon has stated on a number of occasions that Jon Almeleh is Pacifica’s CPB compliance officer (he says his job title, since 2006, has been National Technical Director – https://www.linkedin.com/in/jon-almeleh-4a1b209 & https://www.zoominfo.com/p/Jon-Almeleh/1158446831), so why isn’t he making a monthly weekly public disclosure of (1) the violations he has identified, (2) those he deems responsible, & (3) how quickly each violation was corrected? But Pacifica is administered on quite a different basis: in general, not transparent but opaque; in particular, not the taking of responsibility but the facilitating of evasion. The result? Actions without consequences confer no-one ever being held accountable for what they do, for their acts of commission & omission. Bad things just happen. No-one knows why. No-one’s responsible. Nothing’s ever learnt. Spin & repeat – no rinse.
[So the Houston station house simply filled up with mould. No-one knows why, no-one’s responsible, no-one seems to care – that’s why no-one called for an inquiry, neither a director nor a KPFT LSB delegate, & no-one demanded ED Brazon explain, in writing, publicly, why she had allowed this asset to deteriorate – to zero. Mould is mould, & in PacificaWorld everyone simply expects a house to fill up with mould, everyone simply expects a house to end up without re-sale value. It may be that California law has a concept of a director’s fiduciary responsibility but that’s for other public charities, not Pacifica. Law, fed or state, that’s for RealWorld, not PacificaWorld. Ditto CPB requirements – in any case, Pacifica can always rely on the connections CFO Anita Sims says she has in Washington. Yup, this compliance malarkey is for losers.]

This exercise is made from the CPB’s point of view, what they would find when looking at Pacifica websites. The monthly list needs to be read in conjunction with the explanatory notes, *LINK. [posted by Tu18Jan]
